Mediator Profile
Andrew Sutcliffe is a barrister and mediator at 3
Verulam Buildings, Gray’s Inn.
Andrew was called to the Bar in 1983 and took silk in 2001. He is
recommended as a leading practitioner in media and entertainment law
in the Chambers and Legal 500 Directories.
His principal area of practice is commercial and business law, with
an emphasis on entertainment law, intellectual property (copyright,
breach of confidence), information technology (computer software
disputes), banking and finance (domestic and international),
professional negligence (especially in commercial transactions),
fraud, company law/insolvency and conflict of laws.
He acts as an arbitrator in commercial and IP matters.
He has been a CEDR approved mediator since 2000. Since that time he
has acted as mediator & assistant mediator in several commercial
disputes, involving IP, breach of contract and insurance. He has
also participated in several IP, banking & prof. neg. mediations as
representative of one of the parties.
Examples of recent mediation experience are as follows:

companies.

artists, record company and music publisher.
